Body Language
Explore your strength—feel it, learn it, trust it.
September 13 & 14
The Treehouse | Flint Hill, VA
Leave with a deeper connection to your body as a source of power and precision. This is about becoming fluent in the language of your body.
Body Language is a two-day retreat designed to help you move with more awareness, strength, and ease. Through yoga, kettlebells, and intentional language, we’ll explore how to listen to your body, respond to its cues, and build trust in its wisdom.
Each day combines grounding yoga flows, strength training, and practical tools to help you feel empowered in your movement. You’ll learn how to use breath, alignment, and external forces—like the ground, props, or resistance—to move more efficiently and prevent injury.
This retreat is less about perfect form and more about developing your own language with your body. You’ll leave with confidence in your strength, clarity in your movement patterns, and a deeper sense of connection to the power you already hold.

Movement
Each day begins with a grounding yoga flow to wake up the body and prepare for strength work. Expect creative sequencing and postures that mirror and support the kettlebell work to come—like lunges, warriors, folds, and balances. These flows help you move with more awareness, open key muscle groups, and build mobility that carries into every lift.
-
Strength
From kettlebells to bodyweight drills, you’ll learn how strength training and yoga complement one another. We’ll explore deadlifts, rows, squats, scapular push-ups, and more—breaking down each movement with breath, alignment, and core engagement at the center. Expect smart cues that connect feet, hips, glutes, and shoulders, and discover how strength work can actually deepen your yoga practice.

Connection
This retreat is about more than building muscle—it’s about learning to listen to your body and trust its signals. Through breathwork, mindful movement, and supportive teaching, you’ll develop a stronger connection to your inner voice and leave with tools you can use on and off the mat. The blend of yoga and strength training creates space to feel empowered, balanced, and deeply rooted in your body’s wisdom.
Meet the Team
Gina Ridder Beardsley
Gina is a yoga teacher who believes our bodies are always speaking—we just have to learn how to listen. She first discovered this in her Ashtanga practice and has carried it into everything she teaches. These days she’s blending yoga with weight training, a combo that makes her feel strong, grounded, and more connected than ever. Her “why” is to help people tune in to their own inner voice and find the power that comes from moving with awareness.
Sarah Houhoulis
Sarah Houhoulis is a chiropractor with a passion for strength, movement, and helping people feel powerful in their bodies. She fell in love with powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting during her training in California and now competes nationally—holding records in the bench press. Beyond the weights, Sarah loves to hula hoop, dance, and explore all the ways movement can be joyful. Her “why” is simple: to help people connect with their bodies, build strength, and trust what they’re capable of.
